Scientific "theory"

You know I can handle when people believe in god(s) but it really just pisses me off when people deny scientific theories. Let me explain, to a layman theory means yet to be proven, but in science theories are basically what the layman would call laws. They have been tested over and over again and have been proven to be right and there is nothing that even comes close to the correctness of whatever theory it may be. Some proven theories are (but not limited too):

Modern Atomic Theory- This explains atoms and there components.

Kinetic Molecular Theory- This explains how energy is transferred between particles of matter by constant motion.

Germ Theory of Disease- Viruses and bacteria make you sick, not demons.

Big Bang Theory- Explains how the universe began, there were no "let there bes" going on.

Theory of Evolution- Explains the complexity of life No special creation needed.

Theory of Gravity- Explains why you haven't just floated away. God's not holding you to the earth.

Cell Theory- Explains what every living organism is made of. 

Theories of Relativity- E=mc(2). Matter warps the fabric of space-time.

Plate Tectonic Theory- Explains earthquakes, volcanoes, and why the earth moves. 

Quantum Mechanical Theory- Explains energy on the small scale, and explain photons

Please actually study these before you deny them. Because otherwise your just going to look like an idiot.

Started a Petition :D

So I just heard about the white house's petition website and I decided to take advantage of it. :D My petition is to raise the federal tipped worker minimum wage, which has been at $2.15 since 1996 when restaurant lobbyist bought... erm I mean influenced... congress to freeze it. If you have ever worked for tips or know someone that has please sign it. :)

Occupy Wall Street.

What has always caused this country to change? Protest, of course. When people wanted civil rights what did they do... Protest. When people wanted voting rights what did they do.... Protest. What did workers that didn't like the way they were getting treated at work do... PROTEST. They are in Wall Street protesting right now and no major new networks are really covering it! Not even the local New York news! There are several hundred people walking Wall Street. How could this not news? I wish I could be there to help the cause, but alas I live in Georgia and can't be there. I love the idea and I hope more people join in.
